Before entering wrestling, Terri was a fitness model and body builder. She entered the wrestling scene as Taylor Made, a valet for Scotty the Body. Her actual wrestling debut didn’t come until 1990 when she joined the Ladies Professional Wrestling Association as Terri Power.

Power won the LPWA Championship from Lady X at the Super Ladies Showdown in 1992. She never lost the title because the LPWA disbanded soon afterward. During her time in the LPWA, she was immediately embraced by the fans and quickly built up a big following. She was considered one of the strongest and most popular women in the promotion.

In the summer of 1992, Power joined the All Japan Women’s Pro-Wrestling where she competed until 1993 at which time she took a break from wrestling.

In the fall of 1998, the World Wrestling Federation brought Power back as an obsessed fan of Rena Mero Lesnar, better known as Sable. This storyline continued for several weeks with Power as “Tori” interfering in matches to assist Sable. As Tori, Power feuded with Sable, Jacqueline, and Ivory among others over the next year.

In November of 1999, Power’s storyline made her Kane’s (Glen Thomas Jacobs) girlfriend. For the next few months, Tori feuded with various people and bounced back and forth between Kane and X-Pac with the storyline calling for her to become more and more paranoid.

In June of 2000, Powers was injured when she was power bombed from the second rope through a table and required surgery to repair a torn shoulder labrum. She didn’t return to the ring until January of 2001.

Powers spent about six months during 2001 wrestling as The Black Ninja with Raven She was unmasked during a match with Molly Holly on an episode of Sunday Night Heat. After being revealed, Powers worked as a trainer on WWF Tough Enough until September 2001, at which time she retired from wrestling.
